The first sewage treatment plant of Yangjiang High tech Zone is located in Fugang Industrial Park, Yangjiang High tech Zone, with a discharge outlet set up on the Jiangxi River in Moyang. The total design scale of the project is 50000 tons per day, divided into three phases of construction, responsible for treating domestic and industrial wastewater in Fukuoka Park. The park's enterprises mainly focus on food processing and hardware and electronics industries.
The first phase of construction has a scale of 10000 tons per day, designed according to the proportion of 30% industrial wastewater and 70% domestic sewage, and was put into commercial operation in November 2011.
After 12 years of development and changes, the actual treated water volume of the industrial park has increased from an initial average of 1000 tons/day to an average of 8000 tons/day; The actual proportion of industrial wastewater to domestic wastewater has increased from 30/70 to 70/30; The actual inflow water quality COD/TN/TP has changed from the initial 200/30/4 to 500/70/10; The water quality of the effluent has also been increased from Grade B to Grade A; Only through technological transformation can sewage treatment plants ensure long-term stability and compliance.
With the support of the Yangjiang Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and High tech Zone Management Committee, the technical renovation project started in November 2022 and was completed and officially put into commercial operation in July 2023. After the technological transformation, the newly built facilities of the sewage treatment plant are seamlessly integrated with the existing facilities and operate in a coordinated manner. The sewage treatment fee is controlled within 3.5 yuan/ton, which is efficient and energy-saving, and the effluent quality is stable and meets the standard. It is a demonstration project for the transformation of industrial park domestic sewage treatment plants into industrial sewage treatment plants.
