The Yangjiang High tech Zone First Sewage Treatment Plant (Phase I) project is located north of Fugang Avenue in Fugang Industrial Park, Yangjiang High tech Zone, near the Moyang River. The total investment of the project is 26.3749 million yuan, and the treatment process adopts "A/A/O micro aeration oxidation ditch". The project covers an area of approximately 43243 square meters and has a total design scale of 50000 tons per day. It will be constructed in three phases: the first phase will be 10000 tons per day, the second phase will be 20000 tons per day, and the third phase will be 20000 tons per day. The first phase of the project was officially put into operation on November 11, 2011, with an operating period of 25 years. The scope of services for the first phase of the project includes domestic sewage and industrial wastewater in the living supporting cluster areas near Fukuoka Park, Pingdong Park, and Yintian Reservoir.
